For over 61 years Fred Astaire Dance Studio has long been the leader in teaching dance to the community. The Practice Parties are designed to get the student to enjoy their dancing in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Enjoy complimentary sodas, snacks and wine while dancing to the best variety of musical genres, from Pop & Rock to Latin & Big Band. At Fred Astaire Dance Studio, "We teach you how to dance-not a dance!" The Friday night Practice Party is a high energy, contemporary mix of todays hit music. ¡Caliente! Parties are open to adult students and attire is Casual. It's date night for most of our couples; however, there is never a shortage of partners for our single students. You might even find that special someone as you dance the night away. The Practice Parties are designed to relieve you of your inhibitions thus giving you a greater freedom of movement and expression.
Students enrolled on any of our advanced programs receive one free Practice Party and can purchase an additional one for $30. Practice Parties are not open to the general public.
